Malibu Jacks Field Trip
Friday, February 6th
PLT School District does not have school, so the Park District is hosting their first field trip for the year. This trip will be available to students in Grades 3rd-6th - with 50 spots available. The registration fee is $25.00 for each student participating; which will include entry, lunch and transportation. Chaperones will be provided.
Depart the Park District at 10:00 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m.
Sign up and pay at the Park District.
Every Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Walk-in fee or free with membership.

Are you wanting to learn the basic fundamentals of Pickleball? Are you wanting to expand your skills and grow your game? You're in luck-Jeffrey is back! Beginner and Intermediate sessions available. Come in, or email to sign up. $50 for each participant for a 2 hour clinic. 8 students per session.

Each session can swim for 30 minutes after the eggs are all retrieved.
EYBA and the Prophetstown Park District are continuing to work together to streamline into the Erie-Prophetstown Basketball Association for basketball skills and youth basketball. We are reaching out to make sure every child in each community has the opportunity to be a part of the program and participate. We would like to help the participants continue their growth in learning the basic fundamental skills at the younger ages, and work up to offensive and defensive schemes so we can participate in games before they start their school participation in 6th grade. The junior high seasons are very short, so getting them a good sound base of knowledge before then, is very helpful. We will work with the parents to decide what leagues and tournaments are available, but we will keep everything within the area. The cost for the leagues and tournaments will depend on the number of participants and what league/tournaments we decide to do.
We are reaching out to all 4th-8th grade girls and boys inviting them to take part in the basketball program with us. We have the option of participating as a practice player or one who would participate in leagues/tournaments. If your child is interested, please fill out the Google Doc on the Prophetstown Park District Facebook Page or the Erie-Prophetstown Basketball Association Facebook page. The Park District is so thankful for all the community members that support us, so the annual membership rates for everyone living in our 61277 boundaries is at a great price. The Board made the very bold decision to cut our rates almost in half!!! We continue to want our community to be a part of the life of the Park District. Along with the drop in membership rates, all classes for members are FREE. All EP students in grades 9-12 will get the resident pricing. We have also added a couple options for membership pricing. Thank you again for your support and being a part of the life of the Park District! We appreciate it!
